Dead Sea salt comes from the Dead Sea, the salt lake between Israel and Jordan, and is naturally rich in minerals such as magnesium, potassium and calcium. Dissolved in a warm bath or foot soak, or mixed with oil into a body scrub, it turns an ordinary bath into a small spa moment at home.

- Bath: dissolve one or two handfuls in a warm bath and stir until the salt has dissolved.
- Relax in the bath for 15–20 minutes, then pat your skin dry.
- Scented bath: mix 3–5 drops of essential oil with a tablespoon of carrier oil, such as almond oil, and add it to the bath water.
- Foot soak: dissolve a handful in a bowl of warm water and soak your feet for 10–15 minutes.
- Body scrub: mix two parts salt with one part oil, for example melted shea butter or almond oil. Massage gently onto damp skin in circular movements and rinse with warm water.
- Avoid the face, broken or irritated skin and freshly shaved skin. Scrub no more than once or twice a week.
- Salt and oil can make the bath or shower floor slippery, so take care when standing up.
- Dead Sea salt naturally attracts moisture, so keep the bag tightly closed in a dry place.
